The History of The Shield in WWE

The Shield, one of the most dominant factions in WWE history, made their debut on November 18, 2012, during the Survivor Series pay-per-view. Comprised of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose (later known in AEW as Jon Moxley), the trio entered the WWE Universe as "justice bringers," attacking fan favorites and shaking the foundation of the roster.

The Shield quickly gained recognition for their cohesive teamwork, high-impact matches, and imposing charisma.
