How to Take a Screenshot on Chromebook

Taking a screenshot on your Chromebook is a straightforward process that can be accomplished in a few simple steps. Whether you want to capture your entire screen or just a specific window, this guide will help you do it efficiently.

Method 1: Capture the Entire Screen

To take a screenshot of your entire screen, press the Ctrl + Show Windows keys simultaneously. The Show Windows key looks like a rectangle with two lines next to it and is typically located in the top row of your keyboard. Once you press these keys, you will see a notification confirming that your screenshot has been taken.

Method 2: Capture a Specific Area

If you only want to capture a specific part of your screen, you can do so by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Show Windows. Your cursor will change to a crosshair, allowing you to click and drag to select the area you want to capture. Release the mouse button, and your screenshot will be saved.

Finding Your Screenshots

All your screenshots are saved in the Downloads folder by default. You can access this folder by clicking on the Launcher and then selecting Files. From there, navigate to the Downloads folder to view your screenshots.
