How to Share Your Steam Library

If you want to share your Steam library with friends or family, you can easily do so using the Steam Family Sharing feature. This allows you to lend your games to other users on their devices while keeping your account secure.

Steps to Enable Steam Family Sharing

  1. Open the Steam client and log into your account.
  2. Go to Settings and select the Family tab.
  3. Check the box that says Authorize Library Sharing on this Computer.
  4. Log into the Steam account of the person you want to share your library with.
  5. Once logged in, go back to the Family settings and select Manage Other Computers.
  6. Authorize their account to access your library.

Important Notes

Keep in mind that only one user can access a shared game at a time. If you start playing a game, the other user will be given a notification and will need to stop playing. Additionally, not all games are eligible for sharing due to third-party restrictions.
