Using the Screenshot App

MacOS also includes a Screenshot app for more control:

  2. Choose from options like capturing the full screen, a selected window, or a specified portion.
  3. You can also record your screen from this menu.

Screenshots are usually saved to your desktop by default. However, you can change the save location by going to the Options menu in the Screenshot toolbar.

Troubleshooting and Customization

If your shortcuts are not working, ensure that they are enabled under System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts. Additionally, you can use third-party apps like Snagit or Lightshot for more features.
