How to Manage Facebook Privacy Settings
Managing your Facebook privacy settings is crucial for protecting your personal information and ensuring a safe online experience. Follow these steps to effectively manage your privacy:
1. Access Your Privacy Settings
Log into your Facebook account and click on the downward arrow in the top right corner. Select Settings & Privacy, then click on Settings.
2. Review Privacy Settings
In the left-hand menu, click on Privacy. Here, you can manage who can see your posts, who can send you friend requests, and who can look you up using your email address or phone number.
3. Limit Past Posts
To limit the audience for your past posts, find the section Your Activity and click on Limit Past Posts. This will change the audience for all your previous posts to Friends only.
4. Adjust Profile Information
Go to your profile and click on About. Here, you can edit who sees your personal information, such as your phone number, email, and address.
5. Manage App Settings
Under Settings, navigate to Apps and Websites. Review the apps connected to your Facebook account and remove any that you no longer use or trust.
