How to Make an Ender Chest in Minecraft

Creating an Ender Chest in Minecraft is an essential skill for players looking to store items securely. This unique storage block allows players to access their items from any Ender Chest they encounter, making it invaluable for inventory management.

Materials Needed

  • 8 Obsidian
  • 1 Eye of Ender

Crafting Process

To craft an Ender Chest, follow these simple steps:

  1. Gather 8 Obsidian blocks. You can mine Obsidian by using a diamond or netherite pickaxe on blocks formed when water meets lava.
  2. Obtain an Eye of Ender, which is crafted by combining Blaze Powder (from Blaze Rods) with an Ender Pearl (dropped by Endermen).
  3. Open your crafting table and place the Eye of Ender in the center slot.
  4. Surround the Eye of Ender with the 8 Obsidian blocks in all remaining slots.
  5. Once arranged correctly, you will see the Ender Chest appear in the result box. Drag it into your inventory.

Using Your Ender Chest

Once crafted, you can place your Ender Chest anywhere in your world. To access the items stored within, simply right-click on the chest. Remember, the contents are shared across all Ender Chests, making it a powerful tool for transporting items.
