How to Go Live on Discord
Going live on Discord is an excellent way to share your gaming experience or any other activity with friends or community members. Follow these simple steps to start your live stream:
Step 1: Join a Voice Channel
To begin, you need to be in a voice channel. Click on any voice channel in your server to enter it. You can create a new channel if needed.
Step 2: Click on Screen or Video
Once you're in the voice channel, look for the Screen button located at the bottom of your Discord window. If you want to share your webcam, you can also click on the Video button.
Step 3: Select What to Stream
After clicking on the Screen button, a new window will pop up. Here, you can choose to share your entire screen, a specific application, or a browser tab. Make your selection and click on Go Live.
Step 4: Interact with Your Audience
While you are live, you can interact with your viewers through voice chat or text chat. Ensure that you keep an eye on the chat to engage with your audience effectively.
Step 5: Stop Streaming
When you're done, simply click on the Stop Streaming button to end your live session.
