How to DM on Instagram on Mac
Sending direct messages (DMs) on Instagram from your Mac is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to communicate effectively:
Step 1: Open Instagram in Your Browser
Launch your preferred web browser and navigate to the Instagram website (www.instagram.com). Log in with your account credentials.
Step 2: Access Your Direct Messages
Once logged in, look for the paper airplane icon located in the top right corner of the screen. Click on it to open your Direct Messages inbox.
Step 3: Start a New Conversation
To initiate a new DM, click on the New Message button (represented by a pencil icon). Type the username of the person you wish to message and select them from the dropdown list.
