How to Delete a Page in Microsoft Word

If you are looking to delete a page in Word, whether it's a blank page or one filled with content, follow these straightforward steps to achieve your goal.

Method 1: Deleting a Blank Page

To remove a blank page, simply navigate to the page you wish to delete. Place your cursor at the beginning of the blank page and press the Backspace key on your keyboard. If the blank page is at the end of your document, you may need to check for extra paragraph marks. To do this, click on the Show/Hide ¶ button in the toolbar to reveal hidden formatting marks. Delete any extra paragraph marks to remove the page.

Method 2: Deleting a Page with Content

For pages that contain text or images, select the content you wish to delete by clicking and dragging your mouse over it. Press the Delete key to remove the selected content. If you want to delete an entire page, ensure all content on that page is selected before pressing Delete.

Method 3: Using the Navigation Pane

Another effective way to delete a page is by using the Navigation Pane. Go to the View tab and check the box for Navigation Pane. This will display a sidebar where you can see all your document pages. Locate the page you want to delete, click on it, and delete the content as described above.
