How to Customize Instagram Alerts
Customizing your Instagram alerts can significantly enhance your experience on the platform. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you tailor your notifications according to your preferences.
Step 1: Access Your Settings
To begin, open the Instagram app on your device. Tap on your profile icon located at the bottom right corner. Then, tap on the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner to access the menu. From there, select Settings.
Step 2: Navigate to Notifications
In the Settings menu, look for the Notifications option and tap on it. You will see various notification settings that you can customize.
Step 3: Customize Your Alerts
Here, you can choose to enable or disable notifications for Posts, Stories, Comments, and more. You can also manage notifications for Direct Messages and Live Videos. Adjust these settings based on what you want to be notified about.
Step 4: Turn Off Notifications for Specific Accounts
If you want to turn off notifications for specific accounts, visit their profile, tap on the Following button, and select Notifications. Here, you can toggle off notifications for Posts, Stories, and IGTV.
