How to Cook Ribs

Cooking ribs can be a delightful experience, whether you're using a grill, oven, or slow cooker. Here’s a simple guide to help you achieve tender and flavorful ribs.

Ingredients

  • 2 racks of pork ribs
  • Salt and pepper
  • Your favorite BBQ sauce
  • Optional: dry rub spices (paprika, garlic powder, brown sugar)

Preparation Steps

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to 275°F (135°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
  3. Season the ribs generously with salt, pepper, and any additional dry rub spices you prefer.
  4. Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil to keep them moist during cooking.
  5. Place the ribs in the oven or on the grill and cook for about 2.5 to 3 hours.

Finishing Touches

After cooking, remove the ribs from the foil and brush them with your favorite BBQ sauce. Return them to the grill or oven for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

Serving Suggestions

Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with coleslaw, baked beans, or cornbread for a complete meal.

Enjoy your perfectly cooked ribs!
